Let's create memorable senior pictures that reflect your own personal style, interests and flair.
The Senior session fee is $250 and includes a proof book of 50+ images. If you want to do an Action shoot (see below) we may need to book that on a separate day (so we're not rushed for your portrait shoot); the fee for an Action shoot is $50 - $100, depending on when we do it and how long it lasts. Action images will be included in your proof book.
In order to hold your date, a nonrefundable deposit of $50 (deducted from the session fee) is payable when you book your appointment. Payment must be received within one week from when you book or your session date will be released. You can send a check, drop off cash, or use PayPal to pay by credit card (you do not need an account with PayPal to use it).
The session fee covers my time for the photo session, preparation of proofs, your sneak peek online proof gallery and your proof book. No prints are included in the session fee. The session fee (less the deposit) is payable the day of the shoot.
When to Book:
Book early! This is a part-time gig for me, so I have a very limited number of appointments available each week, and depending on the time of year, I am sometimes fully booked 8 weeks in advance. I specialize in outdoor, natural light photography, which means my busiest season is May - October. I do not book appointments in November-December, which allows me time to catch up on editing before Christmas. Last year, the fall season was fully booked by early August.
LOCATION
Your photo session may be scheduled at the location(s) of your choice. Let's go to one or more of your favorite places. I want you to look relaxed and natural for portraits you will cherish. If you don't have ideas for a location, I do, and we will decide on a location together.
Time
The best time of day for outdoor portraits is late afternoon - two hours before sunset for the "sweet" light; but just about anytime on a cloudy day works well. (Please note that if we must reschedule due to inclement weather I will do my best to reschedule your session within 7 days.)
Please reserve at least 3-4 hours for our session; if we are rushed we won't get the shots we're after. I want you to be relaxed and have fun. We will spend as much time together as we need to get all the shots you want; there is no time limit on your photo shoot.
What to Bring
Plan to bring along items to make your photos personal, unique, and tell your story. Do you have a hobby we can incorporate in some way? Bring your favorite pet if you want. If not, that's OK too, we'll just keep it simple.
Clothing changes are encouraged, and unlimited. Dress as you would normally dress -- and be sure to be comfortable; if you are uncomfortable your pictures will show it. Simple is always good. Jeans, khakis, solid colors, layers and barefeet always look great. Think bold colors. Large logos or writing on t-shirts will be distracting.
Do you have an activity that you'd like to capture in action? If you ride a 4-wheeler, dirt bike, skate board, horse, snowmobile, or whatever, show me what you do -- I love action shots! I'll give you a great deal on a poster for your room. How cool is that? Check out the Action! gallery to get some ideas. Please note that in the essence of time, we will probably schedule the Action shoot on a separate day from the portrait shoot (we will try to get them both done in the same week).
Buddy/Family Shots
You may include 1-2 "buddies" in a few shots, but the focus of our session is on YOU, the senior. Because a family session is more to me than a few basic shots, I do not include family sessions in the senior shoot. If you would like to book a family session, please do so for a separate date.
My goal is to make your photographs personal and unique, and tell the story of you. Let's do that and have fun at the same time!

Proofing
A sneak peek of your proofs will be available in the Online Proof Gallery for viewing soon after your session. In addition to the online gallery, you will also receive a proof book. Your proof book will include the sneak peek fully edited images, plus the rest of the proofs from our session.

Graduation Invitations:
Double-sided invitations come in packs of 25 at a cost of $30 per pack. One-time $20 design fee. Several sizes available, includes envelopes or can be postcard size for easy mailing.
Announcement design must be ordered no later than February for May graduation. You can actually place the print order later, but let's design the announcement early to avoid the spring rush. $100 design deposit (non refundable) required; will be deducted from your final announcement order. ($100 minimum announcement order)
NEW! Student cards to give to your friends instead of a full-size invitation. The size of a business card, it has just the basics: where and when, with your picture. Order in packs of 50 for only $25 per pack.
